I am a non-traditional students (31 years. Former) back to the university, after six long years. I am interested in the promise of the year, but I do not know exactly what or how to write this letter. Is there a model, presenting and / or a formula that can help me write my intention?

Most schools have a hiring process in the autumn. Check with your university's office of Greek Life for more information. You can contact a guild, but if it is to write a small guild with a very informal setting to a letter that probably will not achieve much.
